Application
Marc-Ok Pluss automatic fire curtains are designed to separate fire areas in accordance with fire safety regulations. Used in various types of industrial premises, where the walls separating from the fire are required with high fire resistance. Curtains are perfect for underground parking and shopping malls.
Marc-Ok plus automatic fire curtains do not take up much space and, due to their fire resistance class and very high resistance to heat radiation, curtains can be used as an alternative to large gates. The curtain material is wound on a shaft and is locked in the open position on a daily basis with a fuse lock or electric drive brake. In the event of a fire, the lock / brake opens, the curtain folds and closes the open area.

Curtain construction and properties
Curtain:
The curtain canvas is made of three to five textile layers in the EI60 or EI120 version, respectively.
The main component of the canvas structure is steel fibre reinforced glass fibre.
The upper edge of the canvas is attached to the winding shaft.
Along the lower edge of the curtain canvas is a ballast that keeps the canvas properly tensioned (which prevents creases and ensures proper winding on the shaft) and provides additional attachment.
Shaft:
The winding shaft is mounted on brackets attached to the column structure.
The winding shaft and brackets are mounted inside the shaft box.
The shaft box is made of 0.7 - 1.0 mm galvanised steel sheet.
Guides:
Inside the guide rail there are fixators that prevent the curtain canvas from "jumping" out of the rail.
The cross-sectional dimension of the guides is 80 × 120 mm.
The guides are made of 0.7 mm galvanised steel sheet.
Finishing / painting
Guide and shaft boxes can be uncoated as standard - galvanised steel, or the basic price includes three colours - RAL 7035, 9002 and 9010.
Drive
For smaller curtain sizes use a VIC tubular drive.
Smaller sizes could be used without gravity fail safe system, in the event of a power failure, it will run on battery power.
A gravity system is mandatory for large sizes.
Control
Fire alarm control panel - - complies with PN-EN 54 -2: 2002 standard, placed next to the curtainpower supply voltage 230V AC 50Hz; built-in external batteries which keep the curtains open for a specified time after a power failure (in the absence of fire)fire sensor lines, FAS, alarm monitoring.
