Firefilm A6 intumescent Basecoat is a water-based coating for fire protection of interior steel structures.

- Fire resistance up to R90.
Firefilm A6 intumescent coating has one of the lowest VOC (volatile organic compound) contents on the market.

Surface preparation and application conditions
Firefilm A6 should be applied on a clean, undamaged and dry primed surface.
For galvanised steel the correct primer is used (consult technical department).
Application of the primer must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Firefilm A6 should only be applied when the air and steel temperature is between 5°C and 40°C.
The relative humidity must be below 80%.
The surface temperature of the steel must be at least 3°C
During application and drying, ensure that the steel is dry and not in contact with rain or condensation
Firefilm A6 is supplied ready for use and must not be diluted
