Fire-retardant protective varnish for wood FOR OUTDOOR WORKS UNIEPAL DREW SPECIAL FR

UNIEPAL-DREW SPECIAL FR varnish is designed for fire-proofing and decorative finishing of wooden surfaces made of native species of wood and wood-based materials such as plywood, chipboards and OSB boards used inside living and public areas as well as outside.

Products covered with UNIEPAL-DREW SPECIAL FR varnish in an amount of at least 200 g /m2, have been classified in terms of their degree of flammability:

• elements made of wood and OSB boards with thickness of at least 12 mm - as non-inflammable (B-s1, d0)
• a wooden wall cladding with a thickness at least 20 mm and density of at least 450 kg / m3
• and OSB boards with a thickness of at least 22 mm painted with UNIEPAL-DREW SPECIAL FR in an amount of at least 200 g /m2, have been classified as fire retardants (NRO).

The maximum permitted content of LZO in the ready-to-use product is below 400g/l

The product does not apply to exotic wood.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• Clean, degrease, dust and fill up any surface defects.
• Apply varnish UNIEPAL-DREW SPECIAL FR only on surfaces made of raw wood with a relative humidity not exceeding 20%.
• After drying, the varnish creates the colourless coating without changing the colour of the wood.
