Impregnation is used to create a fire-resistant and decorative finishing coating for building elements made of household wood, OSB, plywood and wood base materials, used in residential buildings and public interiors.

Products coated with UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA 1-K not less than 200 g/m2 have the following fire resistance class:

wooden elements of all types (except exotic trees) and wood-derivatives with a thickness of at least 12 mm
fire reaction class (B-s1, d0)

Varnish is available both colorless and in different shades, for example - walnut, mahogany, white, grey, orange, blue, green (see shade paletted photo)

Preparation for varnishing

Mix the product thoroughly before use.
The product is ready for use - do not dilute!
Eliminate all surface defects, clean, degrease and dust the foundation.

Apply UNIEPAL DREW AQUA colour to untreated wooden surfaces only!!

The relative humidity of the substrate should not exceed 20%.
After drying, the varnish creates a colorless layer or with the selected shade (matte or semi-matte according to order)

Application

Apply varnish at a temperature above 10°C.
Before proceeding with any proper work, perform a small test to optimize the application parameters (efficiency, filling properties, drying time, etc.).
Apply the varnish on vertical and horizontal surfaces in two or three layers, reaching a total of 200g/m2.
Intervals between successive operations depend on the ambient temperature and humidity.
At an ambient temperature of 23°C(±2) and a relative humidity of 50%(±5), the second layer can be applied after 6-8 hours, and the third - after the two previous layers have dried.
If the aesthetics of the wood finish is important, the layer should be thin.
When the first layer is dry, sand it using sandpaper>240 to remove the threads.
Wash the tools used immediately after finishing with water.
